The word „zeitgenossin” (the contemporary) is composed of discarded neon letters from store fronts which are different in type, profile, size, colour and neon system.
At first the whole word and then two words being part of the word „zeitgenossin” are illuminated recurringly by means of a timer control. After a while the following sentence appears:

die zeitgenossin (the contemporary)
        genoss       (enjoyed)
die zeit               (time)
...
